The Quantum Music of the LSD Molecule
Akasha Project
"Quantum music is a self composing music", says Barnim Schultze which is Akasha Project. The starting point for “The Quantum Music Of The LSD Molecule” are the infrared frequencies of the LSD-25 molecule. On 21st March 2008 Barnim Schultze – the mastermind behind the musical Tune In – opened the World Psychedelic Forum in Basel with it.
Molecularly tuned music is composed according to strict harmonics criteria, i.e. in tune with given harmonics structures and based on the natural laws of the “cosmic octave”. The basis of the compositional elements of the music (tempo, rhythm, pitch, interval) are the molecule’s physically measurable resonances in the infrared region of the spectrum. The physically determined values are then transported to the rhythm and audible realm using the octave law and thus form the basis of the entire musical composition.
